Speed limits on highways

How do you feel abou the speed limits on the highways? Do you feel like they are fair or they are a little to fair or not fair at all. Well this could go any way becasue all the discussion points come out to be pretty even. If the highways in America were to not have speed limits then people would not have to worry about the constant fear of getting pulled over. Also if there were no speed limit laws on highways then that would be the less state troopers that they would have to hire and would be less equipment paid for by our taxes.
Then again if there was no speed limits the chance of accidents happening would greatly increase. Alo=so possibly the road rage could go up very high because of the speed demons not getting what they want.

Where is the Snow

It is almost thanksgiving and still no snow. I cant wait for this time of year to come around. There is nothing that I love more then the snow. Every Year the anticipation is through the roof. the only bad part about it is the over siking myself up. For example every year I tell everybody that we are going to get a lot of snow. And latley we have not gotten much snow at all over the last couple of years, and when that takes place dissapointment always sets in.
One of the factors that i love most about the snow is the smell in the air. I also like how there is nobody out, and everything is so silent you can hear a pin drop. There are many poeple that complain about the snow every year and if you are one of them then move down south. That is how I feel about the winter. I sm hoping that this year is going to be a white one.

Bad Week in Sports

Well the terrible week began with the Phillies losing game six of the world series to my most hated team in sports other then the patriots, the New York Yankees. The Yankess went on to win there 29th world series which if you think about it thats crazy. Then Saturday rolls around and the biggest game of the year in college football comes on. The Penn State Nittney Lions Vs.the Ohio state Buckeyes. I was expecting a big game out of Penn State and once again they come up short in a huge loss to the buckeyes. That is really going to hurt them in the rankings system. Who knows where they will be ranked at the end of the week. Then to top it off today the Packers lose to the Tampa Bay bucs a game that I thuoght for sure would be in the bag. And in the NBA the Pistons are off to a horrible start to their season. All I can do now is hope that next week goes a little bit better .

Mordern Warfare 2

The time is amlost come. The night is alomost finally here. It has probably been about two months ago today that I went Before I left game stop they said that they would call me with a reminder to pick up the game. I told them that i wouldnt forget to pick it up and that there was no doubt about that. Then today when I was at worked I recived a phine call from Game Stop telling me that my copy would be ready to pick up monday night at 12. Being overwhelmed with enjoymeny i completley forgot that I had to work a 1 30 in the morning and that I will not be able to pick up my reserved copy. I still plan on trying to make an effot to get over to get the game. But I am stiil very antsy to get the game in my possesion. So if you dont see me in class the next week you know where I will be. LOL just joking Professor Charlton, Ill be there.

Steelers lucky win

Now I am no vikings fan. I am a die hard Packers fan. I watched the Pittsburgh Vikings game today and I am not gona lie I still root for Brett. I mean how cant you root for the best qb of all time. The game I saw today was a bunch of crap. The Steelers played well but the calls that were made by the refs changes the game. The pass that Favre therw for a touchdown got called back for a tripping penalty. i mean come on where the hell did the tripping take place?? Can you please show me if you are a Steelers fan. That is the play that changed the game big time because the next play the Steelers ran back a fumble for a touchdown. Then after that the game just went hay wire. Who knows what the finale score would have been if that wouldnt call would not have been made.

Ps3 or X Box 360

There is many opinions which systyem is better. I have many friends that think the x box is a better system then the Playstation 3. I believe that the ps3 is the better system. When you compare the systems in price the 360 wins because it is the cheaper system. The games are the sane way they are cheaper for the 360. Then the ps3 wins in the internet battle because it comes free with the ps3 and you also have many more options internet wise with the ps3. Then a huge one is the graphics. They come very close to each other but I believe that the ps3 is has the better graphics, many people will argue with that. The ps3 also comes with many more options like you can make your own album and you can set your backround and save games and play any ps2 game at anytime that you want to. So after comparing the both the ps3 comes out the better system and probably always will be.

College Football Rankings

How do you think the teams should be ranked in college football? Do you think that there should be playoffs in college football? There are soo many opinions going around out there. many people like the rankings because it keeps there favorite team with a huge shot at the national title. Then other people have their opinion that there should be a playoff because their team is ranked in the top 25 but dont have a chance of the national title.
If you were to ask me what I think , I would tell you any day that there should be playoffs. It isnt fair for the teams that have an undefeated record. I think that the rankings are crap and could be easily rigged but if your a Gators fan im sure that love the rankings.

Swine Flu

How contagious is the swine flu? How harmful is the swine flu? At first I thought it was no big deal untill last night when the symptoms started to hit me hard. I had a fever and a horrible cough. How did I catch the swine flu? My sister and my neice have it. So I quickly learned how contagious the swine flu is, to bad I had to find out the hard way.
So first thing this morning I went to pay the doc a visit. I told him what was going on and he told me that he isnt going to test me because the test results woulndt come back for 10 days and that I wouldnt be sick by then. He also informed me that the swine flu isnt that serious unless you have some health problems. The doc also said that a regular flu could be more harmful then the Swine Flu. But trust me, the Swine flu sucks. So once again I ahd to ask to many questions and had to find out the hard way.

Fall

Fall is by far the best time of the year. the weather is perfect and the fishing is great. There is nothing that I love more then sitting by the river all cozzied up waiting to catch the record cat fish. I also love the colors of the trees. But raking can definitly be a pain in the but.

Just to let everybody know who doesnt already Craig list has a lot of fraud people. I found some people that told me they would come take my peice of junk car and give me 150 dollars for it. Two days later they still have yet to show up and the name of their buisness changes three times in one day. So just letting you know to Watch out for those frauds.

Brett Favre Best Q.B. of all Time?

After last nights game as pissed as I was because I am a die hard Green Bay fan, I wasnt upset to see Brett break all of the records he broke. If you were to ask me I would tell you that he is the best quarterback of all time, and if you try to argue with me I will gladly beak out the record books.
For what he is doing at the age he is it is amazing. the throws he made and the mistake free game he played was great. Im still a little salty that the Packers lost to the viking but at the same time I was happy for Favre. There is no doubt in my mind though that the next time they play packers will come out victorious

Deer Season

Deer season is finally here. I never thought that I would like hunting untill my dad took me out one winter. It was early in the morning and snowing like crazy. I was with a bunch of his friends and we were on his friends farm. I was in my spot waiting patiently for two hours when a doe runs down over the hill i fired one shot and missed the deer. Feeling embarresed because of missing the deer I went to another spot. I was satnding there with my thirty ot six sitting on a fence when a deer jumped I fired one shot and bolte another bullet in the rifle. I fired again and missed.
After that day I havent seen another deer while hunting but the next time i do Im not missing.

Burning Bright

I was very shocked by how the third reading turned out. I couldnt believe that Montag killed Beatty. i also couldnt believe that montag killed the hound. I liked the way that montag handled the situations that are going on in the book.
Montag makes t6he commet that he has no feelings for his wife, but there is several times that he mentions her and tries so hard to bring back the memory of her. I wish the ending would have went into a little more detail about what happened with Faber, and also his wife.
Other then the left out things in the end Fahrenheit 451 the ending was great. the war that was going on made a great setting nd made it easy to picture. I would have to say that this is one of the best books I have ever read.

Cool Weather is Finally Here

I have waited all year for the weather to be like this. I think this is the best time of the year by far. there is something in the cooll air that I cant describe. I also like the snow. I am hoping that we will get alot of snow this year. The news stations are saying its going to be a cold winter guess. Guess we will have to sit back and find out!

cats or dogs

If you had an option of owning a cat or dog which option would you pick? I would no dobt about it pick a dog over a cat any day. But I am sure that there are many people out there who would pick a cat over a dog.
One of the most major reasonos why a person would pick a cat because of a dog is because they are not as much to take care of. You can go on vacation and leave your cat at home but not your dog. The reason why I would choose as dog is beacuse they make way better companions!

The Sieve and the Sand

I was shocked on how Guy came out and said all those nasty things to Mildreds friend. I was glad that he made that move as well. I wasnt sure what was gona happen with beatty but Guy gave him the book peacefully. The end of the chapter shocked me the most. I thuoght that the firfighters were gona end up going to Fabers house but i was completley traken off guard when the chapter ended with them pulling up in front of Guys house.

The Hearth and the salamander

This book started off a little confusing. after the first couple of pages i understood what was going on. the main point hit me when the girl he had become close with made the comment that one time there were porches for people to sit on and now they are banned. In this book the freedoms of people are taken away from them and hidden so well that most people dont stop to think whats going on. At first I thought this book was about about people that just burned books but it really goes much deeper then that. I think that the book is excellent so far. I am a little in shock about easily everybody is being run by the goverment. I hope that he can pull through with his plan and burn the fireman.

2012

ok, so we got everybody believing that the world is going to end somehow in 2012. People look at this and laugh because they think there is no way. What do you believe? the world and humanity could come to an extinction in so many different ways. I believe that if this were to happen it would end in a nuclear war or an air born deadly virus. So far there doesnt appear to be any type of nuclear war that is going to take place. Coming along is swine flu but it doesnt seem very likely to wipe out all mankind. I guess we will just have to sit back and see what happens.

seatbelts or no seatbelts

Do you think that it should be your descision to wear a seat belt or not? I beliave it should be your choice to wear a seatbel or not. Seatbelts help save lives but they can also take them away. they are proven more safe then not. But getting pulled over and handed a 90 dollar seatbelt ticket tacked on to the other fines it really starts to tick you off. This is america the free country where everyone has rights, whats going on with that.

Writing From the Darkness

This story was about a girl growing up and having a huge imagniation. She often felt trapped, almost like something was out to get her from the darkness. She begins to write for the first time and when she does it she feels so free and so open. Being able to write anything that she is pissed off about or scared of helps her to relax and calm down from all the fear. She also realizes that she can write about anything in the world that she wants to and not get into trouble for it. later on in life she thinks of commiting scuicide. But every time she sits down and begins to fill out her journal all the pain and anguish inside of her begins to come out of her. At the end of the book she says that she will never make the journy again.

When I was younger

Do days ever go by where you think about your past? Do you ever have such a stressfull day where you just sit down and wish you were 6 again and had nothing to be responsible for. Or do you ever wish you could be 5 again to spend that last year with your grandma or grandpa? Sometimes I wish that I was younger.
There are times when I will go places today and it will bring back memmories of when I was younger. The memeories I always get are so peaceful that I wish that I was back to that age again where I could play with my action figures for 2 hours a day and have nothing to worry about. The age where i didnt have to worry about getting my car inspected or paying for my cell phone bill or waking up 5 minutes before i had to be at work and stress bieng late.
I would have to say the age i miss most is 5. I thought school was awesome, almost everyday my family would be at my paps house swiming in his pool and playing with my best friend at the time who was my cousin. life was great. Now 18 I look back and think how and why did i like school. And I also look back and realize how much i miss my pap and my cousin who was my best friend growing up is now just a cousin that I see once every 3 years.
Vacations when I was younger seemed like so much more fun then they are today. the great times of going to the beach with my sisters and mom and going to the mountains with my dad. Everything seemes so much sweeter when I look back. Growing up something you realize is that you are not going to be a child forever and in order to live a succesfull life you must grow up and keep the memories forever and hope that someday your child will hve that same memories to live with that you do.

Stanley Fish

I think that the writer of Stanley fish had some sort of point. I believe that everybody has thier own way of teaching so every semester students will be getting tought a different way the before. I also feel that some classes that are supposed to based on one subject like world war 2, tech many different thing outside that subject.

What Is Good Writing

What is good writing? When I think of good writing I picture many different types of good writing. The First type that came to my mind was organization. Writing must be organized for the reader to stay on track with the article in the newspaper, story,or whatever they may be reading. Another type that comes to my mind is creativity.Creativity is what keeps you sucked into the writing. There is a couple things that i believe make good writing.
